WAXING AFTERCARE

Your skin has been freshly exfoliated and may feel more sensitive for a short time.
Gentle care helps it settle smoothly.

For the next 24–48 hours, please avoid:
Heavy exercise or sweating
Sexual activity
Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms
Very hot baths or showers
Tight clothing or friction on the waxed area

After 36–48 hours:
Begin gentle exfoliation in the shower
Lightly swab with witch hazel
Follow with vitamin E oil for nourishment
Keep the area clean, dry, and moisturized.
Some redness is normal and should fade quickly.

FACIAL WAXING AFTERCARE

Freshly waxed facial skin is delicate for a short time. Redness usually occurs and should resolve within a few hours. Please keep care simple and soothing.

Avoid shaving between visits.
Pause exfoliation for 48 hours (no scrubs, AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, or peels).
Cleanse gently the evening of your service and again the following morning.
Moisturize well and wear sunscreen daily to protect newly smoothed skin.
Scheduling waxing services in three to five week intervals for ease in your waxing and skin care routine.

POST-TREATMENT AFTERCARE

Your skin has been freshly exfoliated and may feel smoother, brighter, and more sensitive than usual. Gentle care over the next few days will support healing and help you get the best results from your treatment.

For the first 24–48 hours, please avoid:
Direct sun exposure
Heavy exercise or excessive sweating
Heat (hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, very hot showers or baths)
Swimming or chlorinated water
Touching, picking, or scrubbing the skin

Skincare guidelines:
Cleanse gently using a mild, non-active cleanser
Moisturize well to support the skin barrier
Change to a clean pillowcase to keep your skin resting on a fresh surface
Wear sunscreen daily (SPF 30 or higher), even on cloudy days

Pause active products for 3–5 days (or as directed):
AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating acids
Retinoids / retinol / tretinoin
Scrubs, brushes, or other manual exfoliants
At-home peels or resurfacing treatments
Resume these slowly and only when the skin feels calm and comfortable.

What to expect:
Mild redness, tightness, or sensitivity is normal
Light flaking or dryness may occur
Skin should settle within a few days

Avoid heavy exercise or excessive sweating for the rest of the day
Skip makeup if you can, or keep it minimal

At home:
Cleanse gently in the evening using a mild, non-active cleanser
Change to a clean pillowcase to keep your skin resting on a fresh surface
Moisturize well to support hydration and comfort

The following days:
Continue gentle cleansing morning and evening
Wear sunscreen daily, even on cloudy days
Avoid scrubs, exfoliating tools, or active products unless recommended

What to expect:
A healthy glow, softness, and calm
Mild sensitivity is normal and should settle quickly
