Policies

I’ve created these policies to protect your time, my time, and the calm, supportive rhythm of Strata. Please take a moment to read through them before booking.

Booking & Deposits

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
This amount is applied toward your service total.

If you need to reschedule, you may move your appointment up to 12 hours before your start time and your deposit will transfer. Cancellations or changes made after that window will require a new deposit for future bookings.

Cancellations

Life happens, and plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of the service fee

  • Same-day cancellations: 100% of the service fee

These fees help protect the time reserved just for you.

Late Arrivals

To honor the clients scheduled after you, sessions will end at their original time even if you arrive late. If you arrive too late to begin safely or effectively, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and charged as a late cancellation.

Children & Guests

For safety and relaxation, no children are permitted in the studio unless they are receiving a service.

You may bring one quiet guest to your appointment.

For all clients under 18, a legal guardian must be present for the entire appointment and must sign consent forms.

Illness

If you’re feeling unwell, please reschedule. Fever, active infections, open wounds, cold sores, or other contagious conditions are contraindications for treatment. There is no penalty for rescheduling due to illness when communicated proactively

Contraindications

Please notify me ahead of time if you are:

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Using prescription skincare or medications (including antibiotics, tretinoin, steroids, or Accutane/Isotretinoin)

  • Recovering from a recent procedure or peel

  • Managing chronic health conditions that affect your skin or healing

This helps me prepare the safest, most nurturing treatment for you.

No-Show Policy

Appointments that are missed without communication are considered no-shows and are charged 100% of the service fee.

After one no-show, future bookings may require prepayment.

Refunds & Returns

  • No refunds are offered for services.

  • Retail products may be returned within 14 days if unopened, unused, or if a reaction occurs.

  • No refunds on gift cards.

Payments

I accept card payments, digital payments, and tips in any form that feels good to you. Payment is collected at the end of your service unless otherwise arranged.

Accessibility & Accommodations

If you need a quieter session, fragrance-free products, extra time, or support with sensory or mobility needs, please let me know when booking. I’m honored to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
